Zofia Kwolek
Polish Center for International Aid (PL)

Zofia is a highly skilled and effective fundraising and communication executive with almost two decades of experience in the humanitarian sector, both international (UNICEF) and local (PCPM – Polish Center for International Aid). Throughout her career, she went through different roles and tasks, from a spokesperson of an organization to a chief of fundraising and marketing director. Usually ‘wearing multiple hats‘ at the same time and learning how to achieve more with less. Her professional experience includes implementing such back-end tools as online payment solutions and CRM software, as well as creating marketing, PR and fundraising strategies, budgeting and organizing national public awareness campaigns.

During her time at UNICEF Zofia had managed to organize a fundraising campaign that brought over 5M of PLN (Polish zloty). She also obtained and managed a Google Grant worth 10.000 USD/month; created a social media strategy and crafted a 3-year long CSR strategy for a corporate partner with 1M PLN of revenue. During the last two years with the PCPM Zofia has created a fundraising strategy from scratch; achieved six-fold growth of donations from individual donors; started the first strategic business partnership for the PCPM and obtained significant pro-bono and in-kind support from various institutions.
