Spanish Legacy Giving Consortium: Sharing Our Experience To Grow The Legacy Giving Conversation Across The Sector And Society

This session will explore the experience of Spain’s collaborative legacy giving platform, led by 27 NGOs, which helped start the conversation around gifts in wills in the Spanish nonprofit sector 20 years ago and introduced the public to a new and largely unfamiliar form of collaboration. The journey of building this joint initiative offers valuable lessons, highlights emerging trends, and provides an opportunity to challenge common myths around legacy giving.
